Larry Johnson was born on November 19, 1979 in La Plata, Maryland. Over the years Johnson has proven he is among the greatest running backs in the whole planet. Actually, many believe that he is one of the top people on earth irrespective of place. Even though he has maybe not received as many honors as a number of his alternatives, Johnson is certainly one player who is sure to put up strong numbers year in and year out.

Even at a young age it was evident that Johnson was likely to be considered a great baseball player. This started to show during his high school days at State College Area High School in State College, Pennsylvania. He played both linebacker and running back high school, and finished his job with 2,159 yards.

After high school Johnson chose to take his game to Pennsylvania State University. In 2002, Johnson was able to rush for over 2,000 yards; a job that has only been met with a number of players. Because of his extraordinary time in 2002 Johnson received a few awards including the Maxwell Award for the top college player, the Doak Walker Award for the top college running back, and the Walter Camp Award. Jackson was written by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2003 NFL Draft, and continues to be with the team since. All through his first few months Johnson didn't visit a large amount of action, but when he performed in all 16 games this changed drastically in 2005. This led to him ending the season with 1,750 yards and 20 touchdowns. Johnson followed this up in 2006 with 1-7 and 1,789 touchdowns.

While Larry Johnson doesn't have all the endorsement deals or obtain a large amount of attention, he's still among the best people in the NFL..
